Welcome...I understand the tremendous trust you impart to a day care provider when you enroll your child in a day care facility. That is why I commit myself daily to be "the best I can be" in providing your child with a secure, comfortable and happy home-away-from-home setting. I strive to create an environment in which your child will thrive and to give you, the parent, peace of mind.
I pledge to offer your child daily large doses of love, care and understanding in an atmosphere that emphasizes learning through play. Give your child daily opportunities to explore and learn about the world through sensory experiences. Value the uniqueness of your child. Strive to reinforce and complement your child's home and family life.
Most of all, I endeavor to be partners with you, in care of your child. I welcome your comments, concerns and questions. I invite you to share your child's early experiences by visiting and observing your child and by participating in daily activities whenever possible.

My passion is being a child advocate. I have loved caring for children ever since my teenage years. I have eleven years of direct child care experience. My education includes, some early childhood development courses/credits, over one hundred hours of preschool curriculum planning and development, multiple CEU's earned in business management, communication, infant/toddler care, special needs and basic care, CPR & First Aid certification and certification in Food Safety. Currently, I am an active member of the Westland Day Care Providers Association, Child Care Coordinating Council of Detroit/Wayne County, National Association for Family Child Care, Michigan Providers' Alliance and Positive Providers Organization. My future plans are to work on accreditation and earning a CDA. |
